Late summer vacation this year with plans to see North Dakota and Minesota, the 2 states west of the Mississpi we haven't ridden to. Windy and cold true Nevada and Idaho. Missed seing some friend in Idaho Falls then hearing about snow in Yellowstone, we decided to head south!
Took some nice backroads down to Bryce Canyon where we camped for a couple of days at the NP and at KOA in Cannonville. Took a day ride to Escalante for coffee. Next day, down to Lake Powel/Glen Canyon and got some new trailer tires in Page where we met a Quebecois visiting the area.
East to New Mexico, we had a really rough ride on dirt road to Chaco Canyon. I'm very glad I've seen it but will not go back on a bike unless it's paved! Had some problems with the bike, one of which was a bad headlight relay. Found a Honda shop in Bernalillo.
"Standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona", this corner sure has changed since the last time I was here. Went on to Flagstaff then down hw17 to Black Canyon to visit friends.
